Long Drive
We spent ALL of Saturday up at Pleasant Valley Golf Club at a Long Drive Competition. It was really windy when we got there... not prime conditions for golfing. They let a few people hit their 5 balls before it started raining really hard. Everyone scattered and then when it finally stopped, they let everyone hit again. We waited around for about 4 hours braving the weather and trying to be patient through 4-5 rain delays. Finally, the open competition was up and Adam hit. The longest drive so far was 307 yards. Adam went and drove all of his balls out of the grid so they didn't count. One of his balls was 380 yards and about one yard off of the grid!!! Bummer. He beat the longest drive by 73 yards into the wind but was out of bounds by just one yard! The prize money was $3000 divided between the winners. Maybe next time. Ruby was such a trooper.

wow way to go adam, that seems stupid that he hit it he farthest but hey were too dumb to make the "grid" too small.
I love the "windy" pic of Ruby! So cute. And thank you for the restaurant suggestions... I think we might do Trio.
