memory lane.

My cute Grandma Kay (dad's mom) is not doing so well right now. We will probably be making the trek to Milwaukee any day to say our goodbyes and pay our respects to her. My parents just got back from visiting her and brought back a ton of awesome photos that we have been going through.
See was such a hottie! With the cutest style.
Her senior portrait.
I cannot get over how much Daniel looks like my dad when he was little.
Not sure if this is from when my dad dove in h.s. or at BYU? It was in some newspaper though.
Please notice the striking resemblance in my earlier post about Daniel on his mission.
I love this little touristy looking photo of my dad.
Last night my little sister informed me that in this photo I look "down syndrome." Yes.. that is me with the glasses. Thanks Laura! I do have to say though... 90% (maybe more) of my childhood photos are pretty bad. There was a small... ok actually my entire childhood that I was always for some reason or another really strange/awkward/different. What can I say... I am one of a kind:) Also, I love that Brian is wearing a pair of "chums" like a necklace.
And here I am with my cute little siblings and daddy (in my Grandma Kay's backyard)... me obviously slightly left out from this cute bunch. Please note... that I appear to be playing with a toilet plunger. What the...?
With Grandma Hazel. Kate looks exactly like Hazel right here with that haircut!
I thought this photo of Sarah, Brian, and Kate with our great Grandma Hazel was cute. Not sure if I was born yet in this photo... I probably was... I bet they just couldn't find me playing in the gutter outside or something equally disgusting. I love how her couch is covered in plastic.
I love Sarah & Daniel's rugby shirts and braided belt. This photo makes me miss our dog Baxter. He looks exceptionally clean here.. we must have had him groomed for my grandma's visit. She has always been a neat freak.
It is so fun and weird to see my cute/young parents.

This post makes me so happy! I am in love with the second photo of Gma Kay. she is so cute. also, pretty sure you didn't put up the right picture of you with the glasses. you don't seem to look as "Special" in that one as I remember from yesterday. LOVE all of these though!

Although this started out sad (sorry about your gma), you are hysterical. You just made my day with the glasses picture and playing with the plunger. AWE.SOME.

HAHA... I have so many comments:

1 - In the picture with your awesome glasses, you look just like Laura. So, I guess her down syndrome comment works for her too.
2 - Your Gma look so much like all of the Claflins! The first one kind of looks like Brian wearing a wig. -- no offense to anyone.
3 - The swim cap picture looks just like Laura does now.
4 - I never realized how much your dad (with hair) looked like Bob Saget. In the best way possible.

This is my favorite post. I love your family!

I love seeing old family photos, whether they are of my family or not. It's fun to see you as a little girl. You were adorable, even in your glasses. :)

Sorry about your Grandma! She sounds so fun! And thanks for the stroll through your childhood. I can't get over how much Ruby looks like you did.

Great blog Molly! Great memories. Some of those photos I've never seen before! All of the family pictures with me in them are just a photo record of my hair loss!
I never realized how much your kids look like you did at that age. By the way, that diving picture was 1971 (my senior yr. in HS).

LOVE all of the old pictures. I think my brother and sister had those exact same rugby shirts!

And so sorry about your grandma. . . that seems to be a common theme right now.
