Easter

We have been talking about that "sneaky Easter Bunny" for a while at our house now. It has been great bribery/ammunition if we want Ruby to obey us. She perks right up at the thought of the Easter Bunny knowing that she is not going to bed when she is told, or anything we want her to do! Is that bad!? :) Anyways, we hit a few little Easter Egg Hunts this week, saw the Easter Bunny at the mall (sorry for the camera phone pic), and dyed eggs with Grandma Carlene and Papa Todd. My mom was even nice enough to make her a little Easter Dress at my request. Thanks Mom!
Ruby with some of her "goods."
Here is a little video of our Easter morning. It was pretty early and low key since we had 9am church. Ruby must have been excited because she went to bed around 7:30 last night (WAY early for her) and slept for 12 hours. We are not used to those quiet hours of alone time on a Saturday night and it was much appreciated. Seriously... this little night owl has been pushing 11pm on a regular basis! I am not sure exactly what to do about that... but her Dr. says as long as she seems happy and is getting "enough sleep for her"... not to worry about it. I am starting to think that she is not getting enough sleep for me though!

It was also great to go to church and hear the messages about the Savior and the resurrection.

Love the excitement. And it made me laugh that she wasn't picking her eggs up like you wanted her to :)

i would just put her to bed at 7:30! it sounds like she went to sleep just fine, and slept for 12 hours. When i put my kids to bed early, they usually sleep longer. But whatever works for you!

Holy crap that was hilarious! Ruby made out like a freakin bandit. She better soak up her last Easter alone.

That is a really creepy Easter bunny. Way too 'sneaky' if you ask me.
