road trip to the northwest

Ruby and I tagged along with my parents on a little roadtrip to the Oregon Coast. Poor Adam had to stay home and work... but other than that, it was a very fun trip.

One of our favorite stops was our tour of the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Particularly the food/ice cream! Mmmmm.
One of the reasons for the trip was to celebrate Hazel's 5th Birthday. We had a great time having lunch at Mo's and strolling Cannon Beach (home of the Goonies haystacks).
The Bakers

We couldn't visit the area without stopping by in Astoria at the legendary Goonies House. "I want my bike, I want my bike."
We spent the last few days of the trip at Great Wolf Lodge. It was a really fun resort with an indoor water park (necessary in Washington). The kids had a blast and the water slides were really fun. Going down a huge water-slide with my mom might have been the highlight of the trip!

I love the super hero shot of Ruby.

And those are the creepiest chipmunks I have ever seen. I hope you were sleeping with one eye open.

Ha ha I loooove the Goonies! I might have to take a trip up there just to see that house and the rocks. Looks like a fun trip. And Ruby is freakin adorable!!!

Love the pictures, especially the one of Ruby striking a pose. Kate's little boy has gotten so big. . . does he still go by Wells?
